I am so grateful for what I learned in these classes. It helped me do some real soul-searching and get hope again. I found a way to work through the grief and pain of my past and get a plan for my life. I got established and finally regained custody of my child.

I wasn’t ready for the classes to end. I learned so much that I could actually use! This class was like therapy to me. I learned that change is necessary at times, and I have to be able to admit my faults and take responsibility for my lifestyle. I learned that I needed to overhaul some things and have the fortitude to continue in my efforts, as well as learn to know myself better and know my own “buttons”. I just wanted to keep coming and learning more. This was life-changing!

These classes opened my eyes to so many things that I did not understand before. I learned that I need to set standards for the family and have rules that help everyone work together better. These classes have been very helpful for me and my wife. We set some specific goals and made plans for how to help each other. I got ideas of things we can do differently, both in parenting and in partnering. I also learned things to help in my own personal growth, like setting long term goals, taking personal inventory, admitting failures and faults, finding a way to continue when I’m discouraged, teaching my child by example, and offering explanations for teachable moments rather than just saying “because I said so”. I’m so glad we found this class.
